Jana joined Voodoo Lounge as the bass player, keyboardist and vocalist in 1997, after sitting in with Beattle and Stone singing backup. We were a Rolling Stones tribute band and featured Mick Jagger and Keith Richards impersonators. The band was based in Las Vegas, NV.

Band Members
Band members were James Ferris (Mick Jagger impersonator, vocals, keyboards, bass), Joe Kennedy (Keith Richards impersonator, guitar, vocals), Scott Tate (guitar), Jim Lynn (drums). After a gig or two, Jim was replaced by Kyle Davis (drums). For bigger gigs, we added Eric Blakely (guitar) and Donny Miller (keyboards). Voodoo Lounge changed their name to Steel Wheels in 1998 so as not to be confused with the Voodoo Lounge venue at the top of the Rio Hotel.
Venues
We performed at various venues in and around Las Vegas, including Finnegans, Chubby’s Diner, Carollos, The Hop, Nite Owls, private party at the Cordell Mansion at Paradise Ranch, PT’s Pub, Hard Rock Hotel, Wet Stop, Barley’s, Roadhouse Casino, Tunes, Indian Springs Casino (Indian Springs, NV), Screwballs, Sand Dollar Blues Lounge, USA Cafe, Club Paradise (yes, the strip club), PinkE’s, Desert Inn Hotel (private party), Harley Davidson Cafe and the Tropicana Hotel (private party). We also appeared on the radio show “Backstage Live with Gary and Connie” broadcasted from the Imperial Palace Hotel. But our favorite gig was in Houston, TX at the Velvet Elvis after the real Rolling Stones played the Summit for two nights.
