Band Members
The original band consisted of Tony Grassano (guitar), Mike (vocals, harp) Clark (bass, keys, flute), Dave (drums, vocals) and Jana (lead vocals, briefly keys). Some of the members went on to form Common Ground. In 1995 the lineup changed to Corey (guitar, vocals), DJ (bass), Dave (drums, vocals) and Jana (lead vocals). After they suddenly left, she played one gig with Gary (guitar), Bill (bass) and Eric (drums). Wet Paint’s most successful lineup began in October 1995 with Mike Fuller (guitar, keys, vocals), Doug Steigerwald (bass, vocals), Slammin’ Sammy (drums) and Jana (vocals, guitar, keys). In December, Nick Chiolo replaced Sammy on drums. This version of Wet Paint morphed into the Janaband, then Girls on Top in 1996.
