Hemlock & Violet’s last performance was at the Knotty Pine in Graeagle, CA on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. We performed at Romano’s Farmers Market in the Sierra Valley and at the Blairsden Garden Center Market several times during the summers of 2023 and 2024.

Jana was the keyboardist in the band 86 Proof for 2022. Our last performance together was December 17, 2022 at the Matador Lounge in Reno, NV. We opened for Blu Egyptian, who were amazing – click here to go to their website. Our previous performance was August 13, 2022 at the Kentucky Mine Amphitheater in Sierra City, CA. Previous to moving to California, I performed in Las Vegas for many years with various bands. My last performance in Vegas was singing at the Sand Dollar Blues Society Ma’am Jam on March 6, 2020 (see photo). I used to show up at random venues and sing some blues songs.
