SOUND EXPERIENCE

Jana has over twenty years audio experience as Head Audio for the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, “Absinthe” at Caesar’s Palace, the Rio Hotel Samba Theatre (now the Penn & Teller Theatre), the Club at the Cannery Casino, A1 at the Westgate International Theater and many other venues in Las Vegas, NV. She is comfortable on any analog console, as well as proficient on most digital consoles, including Yamaha, Digidesign, Soundcraft and Midas Pro Series, to name a few.

Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer, John Cafferty, Nelson Brothers, The Damned, the Fixx, General Public, W.A.S.P., LA Guns, Stephen Pearcy, Unwritten Law, Panic! at the Disco, Pepper, Trainwreck, The English Beat, Colin Hay, Tommy TuTone, Denny Laine, Mavis Staples, Badfish, Blues Brothers, Bobby Blue Bland, Boogie Knights, Bryan Hyland, Buckinghams, Peace Frog, Spazmatics, George Lynch, Method Man, Michael Grimm, Otherwise, Purple Reign, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Tracy Morgan, Wu Tang Clan and B.B. King.

Some of the acts she has mixed monitors for are:
Black Diamond, the Dan Band, Fear Factory, Ice Cube, Lewis Black, Method Man, Next Movement, Reel Big Fish, Soundtrack (Clint Holmes & Earl Turner) and Steel Panther.

In her eleven years at House of Blues, she worked with hundreds of bands as the house sound tech, including:
Apocalyptica, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Religion, Maceo Parker, Seether, Slipknot, Social Distortion, Tenacious D, Bonnie Raitt, Foo Fighters, Gladys Knight, Joan Jett, Joe Satriani, Liz Phair, Megadeth, Pat Benatar, Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy, Zappa Plays Zappa.

Jana is currently semi-retired from IATSE Local 720, her last gig was as house audio for Barry Manilow at the Westgate International Theater, where she enjoyed the rehearsals and experiencing the mastery and passion of a legendary artist at work. The shows were fun, too!
